Pirkei Avot 6:6 tells us: Greater is learning Torah than the priesthood and than royalty, for royalty is acquired by thirty stages, and the priesthood by twenty-four, but the Torah by forty-eight things.

From our community:

For those of you with children up to 12 years old, I have somewhat mixed feelings about it but overall would recommend PJ Library’s free book club. The service sends you Jewish books related to the season or upcoming holidays, and sometimes small craft projects as well.

The reason I have mixed feelings is that I have gotten a few duds which feels wasteful, BUT I have also received some really amazing books that we’ve read to our son Gabriel over and over.
