Morah Amanda
Lead Teacher
This is Amanda’s first year teaching at Etz Hayim, but her kids who are 5, 7, and 9 all attended the preschool, and she began substitute teaching while they were there. She has a B.A. in Spanish with a concentration in foreign language education from UGA and a M.S. in global affairs and human rights from NYU. She lived in New York and worked for Elie Wiesel and the United Nations, then moved to Arlington when her children were born and stayed home with them full time. She loves traveling, experiencing other cultures through food, being outdoors, and animals – especially her 4 cats.
