Join others in the Etz Hayim community for a processing session and listening group, led by a trained facilitator, where we will listen to each other and support each other, even through disagreement. This will not be a space for debate but rather a safe place where we can speak about our own grief, fear, and hope in trusted community. Because of the sensitive nature of the event, this event is in-person only. Participation is capped at ten people, and registration is required. If we have more interest, we will host an additional session.

On Tisha B'Av we fast and mourn the destruction of the Beit HaMikdash (the Temple in Jerusalem) and commemorate the many tragedies that have struck the Jewish people throughout time. Both Monday evening and Tuesday morning we will chant Megillat Eicha (the Book of Lamentations) and pray that we might all see a peaceful Jerusalem and Land of Israel in our day.

Congregation Etz Hayim is proud to again have an information booth at the Arlington County Fair. Please help us set up, staff the booth with a smile, and disassemble the booth when the Fair is over.
