Omer Learning 2016: Day 28

Today is 28 days, which is 4 weeks of the Omer

(All this counting is making me hungry! You too?! Join us, Saturday, June 11th at 9:30pm, at the Rabbi’s house for a study session and ice cream! See the end of this e-mail for more details)

Instructions for counting the omer are found on our Omer Overview Page. You can find the specific blessing for today at chabad.org.

And here’s today’s wisdom, powered by Etz Hayim members:

At age 90, my grandmother went to the podiatrist because of a pain in her left foot. Instead of a clear medical diagnosis, the doctor patronizingly told her that she was simply suffering from old age. My grandmother’s reply: “My right foot is the same age and it is not hurting me.”
