On Saturday, December 4, we met to celebrate Havdalah, light the Hanukkah candles, and learn about kosher wine and cheese pairings. The wine and cheese class was led by sommelier Brett Drucker. We tasted a white wine paired with goat cheese and a red wine paired with manchego cheese. Brett taught us about the four “S’s” of wine tasting: sight, scent, sip, savor. We shared our impressions of each wine and left with a little more confidence in our wine tasting and pairing abilities. L’Chaim!
