On Sunday, November 6, 2022, sixteen congregants journeyed to the National Museum of American Jewish Military History (NMAJMH) in Washington, DC for a private tour led by Sheldon Goldberg, Ph.D., USAF (Ret.). It was very interesting to learn about the history of Jews in the American Military and view many artifacts from Jewish soldiers in our nation’s wars. We also spent time in the Hall of Heroes: American Jewish Recipients of the Medal of Honor. It was fascinating to learn the stories of many of these brave individuals. If you have a chance to visit the museum, we recommend it. And join us at the National Arboretum on February 5th.
