Wow…It’s been a whirlwind of holidays this month! Staff and volunteers invested many, many hours ensuring that our High Holidays were safe, accessible, enjoyable and meaningful this year. Organizers had to prepare for religious services inside, outside and online; for multiple age groups; and with contingency plans for coronavirus conditions and weather conditions.
Sincere thanks go to everyone who enabled us all to enjoy the holidays this year: Rav Natan, guest Hazzan Alexandre Schinazi, Laura Naide, Marcy Burka, Maggie Heidema, Gary Singer, Mike Stein, Naomi Halpern, Ben Simon, the entire re-opening committee and numerous volunteers who handed out machzorim in advance, ushered at in-person services, and ensured our online security as Zoom greeters.
Yasher koach to those who chanted Torah (especially our teens!) and haftarah, to those who delivered thoughtful and inspiring divrei Torah and to Marty Gold for rocking the shofar blasts.
