Rabbi Search Information
The CEH Rabbinic Search Committee is pleased to share information relating to our 2020 rabbi search. Below are links to congregational communication on this topic and information on next steps. We will keep this page updated as our search progresses, and we welcome you to contact us at CEH2020@etzhayim.net with any questions or input.
Prospective candidates should contact United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ) for further information regarding this position.
We are happy to share information about our “virtual” visit from our next rabbi candidate, Rabbi Natan Freller.
Rabbi Freller is a graduating student from Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, the Conservative Movement’s west coast seminary.
He is interviewing with us for a permanent position. His bio is available here.
Please note the following change to Rabbi Natan Freller’s visit schedule:
The Zoom mincha service, including singing, Torah reading, a sermon about the parsha, and a guided meditation for the Amidah has been moved to Monday, May 4 at 6:30pm.
The Sunday, May 3, 4:00 pm Zoom meet & greet with tweens and teens, followed by the Zoom meet & greet at 4:30 pm with parents of preschool and school-age children, will proceed as planned.
Zoom links are available in the congregational e-mail or by contacting the office at firstname.lastname@example.org
We recognize that rabbi visits during quarantine are uncharted territory for students and congregations around the globe, but we look forward to high levels of engagement and continuing to show our candidates the best of what CEH has to offer! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions (email@example.com).
