Purim is coming!

Get ready for Purim magic at CEH!
There are four mitzvot (commandments) on Purim:
 
  • Mishloach Manot (food gifts to our friends)

  • Matanot laeviyonim (food gifts for the poor)

  • Reading Megilah – Join us for shpiel or our full Megilah reading – this year, in English! 
  • Mishte (festive meal) – Brunch & Learn with Rav Natan.

Three opportunities for pick up:

  • Sunday, March 5th at the Purim Carnival
  • Monday, March 6th at the Purim Shpiel
  • Tuesday March 7th during services

Purim Carnival
Sunday, March 5th, 11:30 a.m.

We would greatly appreciate your help in making our Purim Carnival a success. There are many opportunities for adults and teens (6th grade and up – religious school ends at 11:30 a.m. so teens can help) to volunteer – from set up, clean up, food preparation to running games.

Magical Purim Shpiel
Sunday, March 6th, 6:30 p.m.

Attend our magic themed shpiel and costume parade during the shpiel for which everyone is encouraged to dress up!

Of course there will be snacks!


Purim Morning
Tuesday, March 7th, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The service will take place at CEH, and will include Torah reading, Megilah reading, and an enhanced/special bagels/breakfast, and learning with Rav Natan (Zoom available).


The Megilah – In English!
This year, come to a unique experience – reading the Megilah in English!

Stay for a special Brunch & Learn with Rav Natan.

WE NEED YOU! If you are interested in reading at least 3 verses in English we want your help.

  • 7:30 a.m. – Shacharit w/ Torah Reading
