Participate in Services
We want your experiences at Etz Hayim to be meaningful, and that means different things to different people. You’re welcome to daven in the sanctuary privately, and we also welcome you to volunteer to participate.
Join us for a delicious and vibrant potluck dinner on the first Friday of every month following the Kabbalat Shabbat service. This is one of our most popular events, especially with families with young children.
Food should be vegetarian (dairy or pareve), made using hekshered ingredients, and brought in a disposable pan/container. Food cannot be heated in our kitchen.
Not a home cook? Pick up something hekshered at the grocery store, such as fruit, yogurt pouches, or dessert. Let’s break bread and welcome Shabbat together!
On the second Saturday of each month at 9:30 a.m., meet Rabbi Bass in the sanctuary for a half-hour meditation session prior to services. No prior meditation experience necessary.
On the 2nd Friday of each month, join us at 6:15 p.m. for evenings of melodic worship with a little groove thrown in by our own congregational band!
This event is especially fun for families with young children!
