“Be as helpful as you can to your family and friends because they are the people who count in that they lend support and encouragement to you since they really care. Everything in life does not have to be evenly traded. Just because you did a favor for someone does not mean you should expect a favor in return. There are other tradeoffs in life and the rule of making everything being “even Steven” should not be a goal in life.
