Journey around the world without leaving the classroom. Join cookbook author Laura Kumin on a culinary tour of Purim celebrations. We will explore how Jews around the world celebrate the story, talk about little-known aspects of the Purim story, and taste Purim specialties.

Mishloach Manot for Arlington Seniors
Mishloach Manot is the Jewish tradition of providing gifts of food on the Jewish holiday of Purim. Join Congregation Etz Hayim as we share this tradition with the residents of Culpepper Garden, a senior living facility in Arlington.
- Who: Adults and children of all ages who enjoy Purim, bingo, hamantashen, social action, and togetherness.
- When: February 11, 2018 – 1:30 – 3:00 PM
- Where: Culpepper Garden, 4435 N. Pershing Drive, Arlington, VA 22203 (Parking available on the street or onsite – request permit from Front Desk)
- What: The Etz Hayim Youth Group will perform a Purim “spiel” (play) and lead Bingo games for Culpepper residents.
