Our esteemed leader of the past 19 years – Rabbi Lia Bass – will be leaving Congregation Etz Hayim as of June 30, 2020. Though we remain physically separated at this time, we plan to send her off in style and with love.

On Tuesday night, June 30, from 7:00-9:00pm the members of Congregation Etz Hayim will honor Rabbi Lia Bass with a very special virtual evening of farewell tributes. Click here to join the festivities that night.
After brief opening remarks from synagogue leadership, the evening will become a community celebration. We invite all members to honor Rabbi Bass with a tribute. Tributes may take one of many forms: you might choose to deliver a scripted tribute, to share unscripted thoughts and thanks, to read a poem or prayer, to share a song or simply share a special photo. We encourage you to limit your tribute to two minutes, to ensure that all members have the opportunity to participate. Technical guidance will be available prior to June 30, so please do not let fear of Zoom stand in the way of participating.
Please sign up here to share a tribute. Sign-up closes June 25.
