Congregation Etz Hayim is proud to be a co-sponsor of ScholarStream, an initiative of the RA, USCJ, JTS, and the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies to offer high-quality adult education opportunities. ScholarStream is a four-part series opportunity to learn from some of the world’s leading scholars and engage deeply with our texts and traditions. We are sponsoring the Ziegler series, Equity, Forgiveness and Intersectionality , taught by faculty from Ziegler, Rav Natan’s alma mater. Because the teachers are on the West Coast, pay attention that each session starts at 10 PM ET. Recordings of all sessions will be available for those who sign up.

  • 11/18, Communal Forgiveness: Rabbi Dr. Elliot Dorff will explore the concept of communal forgiveness
  • 12/2, What the Exodus Has to Teach Us About Intersectionality: Rabbi Dr. Gail Labovitz on what Exodus has to teach us about intersectionality
  • 12/9, Now What?: Rabbi Dr. Aryeh Cohen on building a multiracial democracy
